Eating for Health & Wellness: how a plant-based lifestyle can help you lose weight, heal & prevent chronic illness, & feel your vibrant best.

In this interactive workshop, the presenters cut through the confusion about the healthiest way to eat. They’ll share their own stories of illness and recovery, exploring the misinformation portrayed by the media about nutrition and presenting the wealth of scientific evidence around plant-based nutrition and its role in chronic disease prevention and recovery.

You’ll discover the truth about weight loss. Research shows dieting actually leads to weight gain over time. Plant-based eating, in comparison, allows the body to shed excess weight naturally, settling at the healthiest weight for you, without ever going hungry.

You’ll also learn that living a vibrant and healthy life is about much more than just what you eat, coming away with practical strategies for positive lifestyle change that fits simply and pleasurably into a busy life.

About the presenters:

Samantha Dawn Butcher is a Food Educator & Wellness Coach who delivers plant-based cooking programs in schools, offers plant-based cooking classes & wellness workshops, and coaches individuals one-on-one, paving the way to greater wellness and a more simply nourishing life with her positive and inspiring approach. www.nourishfoodeducation.com

Rebecca Stonor is a Plant Scientist and Public Speaker who used her scientific knowledge to research the power of a plant-based diet to successfully overcome autoimmune disease. She’s spoken at events such as the Australasian Nutrition in Healthcare Conference in Melbourne and the Adelaide Nutrition in Healthcare Symposium, and inspired many with her story. www.justeatplants.com.au
